The most recognizable jersey in the game, this Montreal Canadiens sweater was originally worn by an unknown prospect named “Brabant” in the mid-to-late-1990s, and with evidence of a former shorter nameplate, the jersey was also possibly worn by Gerry Fleming (1993-95) and/or Murray Baron (1996-97), with each donning the #36 Canadiens jersey during the era. A Maska Ultrafil label and size “56” fly tag are affixed to the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests over the reverse hem. Styled with the iconic “CH” team crest, the white V-neck has been accented with “36” in blue-over-red tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Brabant” across the affixed nameplate in single blue twill. The jersey also sports custom cut sleeves. Showing light to moderate game use, there are a few dark marks over the front and sleeves, with board burns with a small resulting hole over each sleeve. There is also some red paint transfer over the left elbow, with pilling over the collar. Obtained directly from the Montreal Canadiens, an LOA from Classic Auctions will accompany.
