A product of the Hull Olympiques in the Q, Sebastien Bordeleau dressed for three different NHL clubs including Montreal, with the majority of his professional career spent in the NLA with SC Bern. This Canadiens jersey is attributed to use by Bordelleau during his final season in Montreal, in 1997-98, with the jersey then recycled for Martin Gendron’s preseason use in 1998-99 (Gendron played with Fredericton in 1998-99). A Starter Center Ice label is affixed to the collar, with the garment measuring-out to roughly a size 54. Styled with the most famous team crest in hockey, “71” appears over the sleeves and verso in white-over-blue tackle twill, with “Gendron” across the affixed nameplate in single white twill. A few marks and scrapes are present over the lower front, with heavy board burns over each sleeve. There are also additional burns over the right shoulder, with pilling within each interior sleeve. Obtained directly from the Montreal Canadiens, a signed LOA from Rejean Houle will accompany.
