Minimal significant high grade elements are involved here but a respectable group of 1972-73 O-Pee-Chee cards is just 14 cards shy of completion and without many heavy creases, featuring mostly VG to EX entries (some better/worse), including a complete run of WHA cards at the end. The #336-Bobby Hull card is VG, with however some star cards being real low grade fillers (Clarke, Plante, Dryden, Hull All-Star) and others among those not present (Lafleur, Orr, Orr/Park All-Star, Dryden All-Star). A well-centered Mike Bossy rookie card headlines a near set (390/396) from ’78-79, with a small crease and corner wear sending it to VG+ and a pronounced curvature observed with the rest. Hardly a crease is spotted but corner dings/wear contribute to an average in the EX neighborhood and 9-pockete pages possibly helping to flatten the contingent. The interesting roster of rookie cards in a not-quite-as-curved complete set of ’81-82s stars those mentioned in our title, with however Coffey mangled, multiple creases in Kurri and Murphy and a pen mark on the front of Savard. Better are EX-MT rookies of Moog and Ciccarelli, with 106-Gretzky EX+ and everything from G to NM among the rest – a mixed grab bag indeed. Perusing, sorting and pricing possibilities await you here.
