An assembly of O-Pee-Chee's vastly popular 1968-69 issue offered here will be of particular interest to those of you not fond of creases but who do not require high, high grade examples. Obvious creases are few and far between and actually outnumbered by (approximately 15) notorious factory-produced horizontal wrinkles. We contend that cards in the EX vicinity account for the majority, with some EX-MT, EX-MT+ and NM entries showing up intermittently. Joining EX to EX+ components are VG-EX and VG-EX+ cards, while a small percentage of VGs can also be anticipated, with the specials at the end (All-Stars, Trophy Winners) tending to be among the inferior, along with a few of the keys. Miscut and with creases is Bobby Orr's #2 card (F-G), with 200-All-Star (VG) and 214-Norris Trophy (VG+) better. Diamond cuts, as usual, are more prevalent amid the 1st Series, with Bernie Parent's rookie card downright miscut and otherwise VG+ and Mickey Redmond's RC (EX-MT) boasting attractive gloss, similar to numerous others. Superstars 20-Howe (EX) and 16-Hull (EX (MC)), as well as two unmarked checklists are also noteworthy, with 121-1st Series (VG with a small corner crease) and 61-2nd Series (VG-EX) welcome elements. The first (1-Harvey (VG)) and last (216-Provost Masterton (G)) cards are not so nice but in between, we'd say you're in for an enjoyable "trip."
