Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/26/2021
A top-ten draft selection of the Buffalo Sabres in 1982, Phil Housley was noted for his quick skating and effortless mobility, scoring over 1,200 career points as a blueliner. The Minnesotan is also second all-time for scoring among American-born players. This stick was used by the HOFer during his time with the Washington Capitals, circa 1996-97. A KOHO Revolution model with “Housley” stamped to the lower shaft, there is a production code on the underside, with the original white tape in place over the blade and heavily-shaved handle (with “96” handwritten). Great game-use is exhibited, with wear to the taped section of blade including puck marks, with additional wear to the handle and marks to the shaft.
