Featuring Canada’s first major league baseball club, the Montreal Expos are highly collected despite vacating the nation in 2004, and we offer a circa 1975 team-signed baseball along with a multi-signed 1982 MLB All-Star Game program (the game was played at Olympic Stadium in Montreal). First, the baseball is an Official NL Chub Feeney model – possibly used as it sports heavy toning and marks, with 28 signing in matching green ink including Gene Mauch, Gary Carter, Bob Bailey, Ellis Valentine, Tim Foli, Steve Renko, Tony Scott, Pat Scanlon, Larry Biitner, Jim Lyttle and others, with some of the signatures worn from handling, but legible. The 1982 All-Star Game program features Claude Raymond on the cover, with Raymond, along with Andre Dawson, Jerry White, mascot Youppi and one other signing. Unscored, the program shows light wear with toning to the cover. As an added bonus, a group of 23 1985 O-Pee-Chee Expos (10) and Blue Jays (13) baseball posters are also included (5” x 7”), with Raines, Wallach, Dawson, Lea, Rogers, Reardon, Upshaw, Fernandez, Stieb and others, along with 23 vintage 1940s/50s baseball magazines with covers to include DiMaggio, Williams, Feller, Berra, Young and others. The group shows moderate to heavier wear.
