The only player in NHL history to be awarded the Conn Smythe Trophy as the most valuable player in the Stanley Cup playoffs three times, Patrick Roy is also an 11-time All-Star, with his number retired by both the Montreal and Colorado franchises. From his fifth season in Denver and on the eve of hoisting his fourth and final Stanley Cup, we have a signed Avalanche jersey worn by the superstar keeper in 1999-00. Pro Player labeling along with a “G58” size tag remains affixed to the collar, with Pro Player and NHL crests over the reverse hem, while the NHL 2000 patch resides over the right breast. Styled with a textured Aves team crest with embroidered detailing, “33” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in textured triple twill, with matching alternate crests over each shoulder. The dual-clasp fight strap is intact. Roy has signed the upper front in blue marker, adding a personalization, with a bit of very light fading to the signature. Worn briefly, there are a few small stains over the upper left sleeve. Hailing directly from a former employee of the Avalanche, his signed LOA will accompany.
