Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2021

The premier selection at the 1994 NHL Entry Draft, Ed Jovanovski was chosen by the Florida Panthers, and skated for the club for three and a half seasons before being involved in a seven-player deal with Vancouver that included Pavel Bure. From the final season of his first stint with Florida, we have a Panthers jersey that was issued to the Windsor native for the 1998-99 season. A Starter label and “58-R” size swatch are affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and Starter crests on the reverse bottom hem. Styled with an attractive and multi-coloured Panthers’ team crest with embroidered detailing, the V-neck sweater has been accented with layered tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with matching alternate crests over each shoulder. It should also be noted that “Jovanovski” over the upper reverse was first placed lower, as the outline is visible, with this likely changed and realigned to the current positioning during the process. Sporting no signs of game-use with just a few tiny marks over the front, the jersey remains in like-new condition.
