Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/30/2021
Scoring 161 points in just 70 games in 1995-96, Mario Lemieux would win the Art Ross, Hart Memorial and Ted Lindsay awards that season, while also being selected a First Team All-Star. Hailing from that especially successful time during Lemieux’s career in the mid-1990s, we have a signed stick used by the HOF superstar. A KOHO Revolution model, “Lemieux” appears stamped but faded over the upper shaft, with a factory code of “346 6” on the lower underside. Retaining the original black tape on the blade and handle, the stick shows light to moderate game-use, with a chip along the top edge of the blade as well as some additional marks and chips to the surface finish over the shaft. There is also a bit of residue over the upper shaft. Lemieux has signed just above the front side heel in black marker, with a personalization added.
