Loaded with superstar talent which included a youthful Terry Sawchuk along with the timeless Gordie Howe, the Detroit Red Wings would top the NHL with 100 points in 1951-52, and would meet and defeat the formidable Montreal Canadiens in the Stanley Cup finals. This title would be the second in three years, with the boys from Motor City capturing four championships in just six seasons, from 1950 to 1955. This limited-edition photo has been multi-signed by 9 members of the 1952 Stanley Cup championship Red Wings including 5 HOFers. At 11” x 14”, the glossy image depicts the entire squad in the traditional on-ice pose, with Red Kelly, Alex Delvecchio, Gordie Howe and Ted Lindsay signing along the base, and Marty Pavelich, Vic Stasiuk, Benny Woit, Marcel Pronovost and Metro Prystai signing along the top of the image. Each signature has been scripted in matching black marker, with just a touch to the bottom right corner. A sticker from JSA numbered “KSA003871” has been affixed, with a matching LOA to accompany.
