This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/30/2021
Waiving the standard five-year waiting period for eligibility expected of mere mortals, Maurice Richard received Hall of Fame enshrinement only one year after retiring, and was the NHL’s all-time leading goal scorer upon hanging up his skates, in 1960. This jersey has been signed by the timeless legend. Produced by CCM with “Vintage” labeling and “XL” sizing, the acrylic garment has been made to simulate wool, and feature’s a gorgeous layered felt team crest and tackle twill numbers, with the Rocket signing the reverse “9” in thin blue ink, with the signature displaying well despite bleeding into the background material slightly. There are also point-of-sale tags still attached to the left cuff.
