Named for its minor league predecessor that played in the PCHL and WHL from 1945 to 1970, the Vancouver Canucks joined the NHL as an expansion club in 1970, along with Buffalo. The Canucks have earned three Conference championships throughout their history and have advanced to a trio of Stanley Cup finals. This lot offers a nice collection of Canucks material, including pucks, cards, yearbooks and more. Included, we have yearbooks for 1972-73, 1973-74, 1974-75, 1981-82 and 1987-88 (light wear to the group), a 1981-82 Silverwood Dairies complete 24 card set (8 unperforated 3-card panels, with light handling to the panels), a 1970s large embroidered patch (4 ½” x 7”), a 20th anniversary banner from 1990 (5 ½” x 11”, with light wear), a 1982-83 team photo (5” x 7 ½”, high grade), a 25th anniversary patch, four 1970s pucks with facsimile signatures, a sealed 50th anniversary NHL game puck, a sealed 2011 Stanley Cup finals Game 5 puck and more! From the club’s pre-NHL days, we also have a pair of WHL programs, with examples from 1961-62 (fold to cover) and 1969-70 (light wear).
