Lumber from three prominent players that plied their trade throughout the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s, we have game-issued sticks for HOFer and 1998 Conn Smythe winner Steve Yzerman and 1986 Stanley Cup champion Bobby Smith, along with an example that saw use from longtime Hab and later coach Mario Tremblay. First, the Yzerman is a Titan TPM 2020 model with shaved handle that originates from circa late-1980s with “S. Yzerman” stamped and “19” handwritten, with the striping accent intact and light age/storage wear to the stick. Next, the Smith is a CCM PPLM-1001 model from the early-1980s with “Bobby Smith” factory graphics, with the accents intact and light overall wear. Lastly, the Tremblay is a Vic model from circa-1980, with “M Tremblay” stamped and “14” handwritten, with the original tape in place over the blade and knob, with moderate use exhibited including wear to the blade and shaft with red paint transfer. A few players have signed, including Savard and Lafleur.
