Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/23/2021
The last Canadian-based team to hoist the iconic Dominion Hockey Challenge Cup, the Montreal Canadiens concluded the 1992-93 NHL season in third place in the Adams Division. Quebec, Buffalo, the Islanders and Los Angeles would all be defeated postseason, with the Habs claiming their 24th championship in franchise history. This oversized team photo has been multi-signed by 13 members of the 1993 Stanley Cup champion Canadiens. At 16” x 20”, the glossy image pictures the full team in the traditional on-ice pose, with all 13 blue sharpie signatures added beneath, including HOFer Guy Carbonneau, along with Kirk Muller, Mike Keane, Gary Leeman, Brian Bellows, Rob Ramage, Mario Roberge, Stephane Lebeau, Jesse Belanger, Gilbert Dionne, Patrice Brisebois, Benoit Brunet and Oleg Petrov. The signatures display beautifully, with light wear to the photo. An LOA from Classic Auctions will accompany.
