A decent start to a 1965-66 Topps set and some ’62-63 Parkhurst star cards highlight this offering, with several different grades present. Rookie cards of Yvan Cournoyer (VG+) and Paul Henderson (EX+), a Gordie Howe card (VG+) and EX+-or-better examples of #s 49-Ullman, 55-Hall, 71-Richard and 81-Mahovlich headline the group of ’65-66s, while creased and/or lesser are 1-Blake, 2-Worsley, 6-Beliveau, 79-Horton, 82-Ellis RC and 126-Canadiens team card. Some three dozen crease-free mostly VG-EX and EX (a few higher) are best among the rest, with a few duplicates tossed-in. A small moisture stain affects and otherwise EX+ 31-Gordie Howe Parkie from ’62-63, with 13 others including 1-Harris (EX), 7-Horton (VG (ST)), 47-Rousseau RC (EX-MT) and 53-Geoffrion (EX-MT). Ten miscellaneous Parkhurst and Topps cards include a crease-free VG-EX ’63-64 Bruins team card and three similar or a tad better ’66-67 Topps All-Stars; 124-Mikita, 126-Hall and the last card, 132-Rousseau. In the extremely low grade department are (39) ’58-59 Topps entries, 19 Parkies from the same year and 32 Topps from ’59-60. Scotch tape, which left either stains on the front (most Parkies) and/or significant unsightly areas of paper loss on the front (most Topps) is the culprit. However, an authentic Bobby Hull rookie card is crease-free, offers a splendid image of the budding superstar and, like most others, has a problem-free, legible back. Completing are upwards of one hundred miscellaneous Montreal Canadiens cards, mostly from the last half of the 1970s and the first part of the ‘80s. An array of possibilities with these classic collectibles.
