Honouring just their seventh season in the NHL, the Philadelphia Flyers finished the 1973-74 campaign a single point behind the league-leading Boston Bruins, and after defeating the Canadiens and Rangers, met the Bruins in the Stanley Cup finals. The series would be won by the Bullies in seven, with Bill Barber contributing the game-winning goal in Game 4, while Bernie Parent captured the Conn Smythe as MVP. This lot offers gorgeous 1973-74 Philadelphia Flyers Mitchell & Ness replica jerseys of Bernie Parent and Bill Barber, with each individually signed by the HOF duo. Mitchell & Ness “Vintage” labels grace each collar with “Authentic 1973-74” tags beneath, with the Parent a size 56, the Barber, 48. Featuring textured Flyers team crests with embroidered detailing, each jersey sports tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with each player’s name over the affixed nameplate in single black twill. Both jerseys have been signed within the reverse number in silver, with each adding their number and induction year, with Barber also signing “Cups 74 & 75”. The signatures present beautifully with no issues, with light wear to each jersey.
