Wonderful grouping of Montreal Expos memorabilia features gifts sent by the team to its original season ticket holders including a ticket from the team’s first home opener encased in Lucite. The Expos made history on April 14, 1969 when they hosted the first Major League Baseball game played outside of the United States. Season ticket holders received in the mail a full ticket from the game encased in a 8 ?” x 3 ½” slab of Lucite. This one comes with its box with the postmark and Jarry Park return address and letter from Expos president John McHale. Also included is a 1970s Expos team photo and a 1972 team logo, each in Lucite as similar gifts to season ticket holders, a hoard of 22 Expos 1970s programs, and six strips of Olympic Stadium tickets for the 1996 postseason, including the World Series, and more!
Collection of 22 Expos Volume 2 programs from the 1970 season: Vol. 2, No. 1 Bateman cover (1); No. 2 Stoneman cover (4); No. 3 Fairly (5); No. 4 Raymond (5), No. 5 (3); and No. 6 Morton cover (4).
