Highlighted by a pair of Vancouver Canucks game-used sticks from Daniel Sedin and Arturs Irbe, we offer a group of 7 sticks, including 4 signed examples. First, we have a Sedin stick used during his rookie era, with this model of stick used in 2000-01 and 2001-02. A Jofa ASD model with “Sedin Daniel” stamped to the upper shaft, the tape remains intact on the blade and knob, with both Sedin brothers signing the blade in black marker. The stick shows heavy use with wear to the underside of the blade and lower shaft. Next, the Irbe stick is from his lone Canuck season in 1997-98, with the Sher-Wood 950 model sporting the original tape over the blade, paddle and knob, with a cloth wrap to the handle. Heavy game-use is exhibited throughout including a large gouge to the paddle, with Irbe signing the blade in black marker and adding a personalization. Next, we have a 1997 Ottawa Senators Charity Classic team-signed stick with team graphics and 12 signing in black marker including Redden, York, Gardiner, Cunneyworth, Zholtok, Chasse, Chorske and a few others, followed by a solid white Bell stick signed by 28 in black marker including Dionne, Howell, Harris, Goulet, the Mahovlich bothers, Westfall, Park and others. Lastly, we have an Oldtimers Hockey Challenge stick signed by 13 in black marker including Dionne, Hextall, F. Mahovlich, Park and others, a “Hockey Legends All Star” mini goal stick signed by 8 including Dionne and Lafleur, and a Hespeler Doug Gilmour Chunky Soup souvenir tribute stick (new unused condition).
