The Great One’s famous O-Pee-Chee rookie card is the focal point of the three OPC sets up for grabs here, with some allure included in the “assorted years” binder. We’d say GOOD at best for Wayne’s RC, affected by four light creases and visible corner and edge wear. The accompanying 1979-80 cards are superior but with certainly nothing bang-on and an EX average or a tad below and with however checklists and most team checklists marked. Ditto for the latter in the ’75-76 and ’78-79 sets, with those assemblies exhibiting more handling and wear and in the VG to VG+ realm. The Mike Bossy RC is multi-creased and F-G. The miscellaneous cards total more than 300, with definite highlights being NM Bobby Orr and Phil Esposito OPC cards from ’69-70, with Serge Savard’s RC and 10-Beliveau attractive crease-free EX+ contributors. A few old Canadiens Parkhurst and OPC cards, a ’70-71 OPC Bobby Hull (VG-EX), ’74-75 Salming and McDonald rookies (both EX+) and Gordie Howe’s ’71-72 Mr. Hockey card (VG) are most notable among the rest. There are approximately 125 from ’74-75, 100 from ’76-77 and 60 from ’81-82, along with a smattering from other years. Like we like to say, “numerous possibilities here”.
