Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/24/2021
Combining with potent goal scorer Brett Hull as one of the most feared tandems during their 2 ½ year tenure with the St Louis Blues, Adam Oates was one of the most productive players throughout the 1990s, scoring over 800 points between the 1990-91 and 1998-99 NHL seasons, including 115, the year the offered signed Blues alternate captain’s jersey was worn by the superstar. Maska Air-Knit tagging sits along the collar with handwritten “50” sizing, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests over the back bottom hem, along with a white rubberized Custom Crafted logo. Styled with an attractive Blues team crest with an embroidered “St Louis” tackle twill patch affixed, the royal blue V-neck has been accented with tri-colour sleeve and verso numbers, with “Oates” across the affixed nameplate in single white twill. Oates has signed the front band in blue marker, with the signature standing out nicely.
Sporting a large stick mark over the lower front, there are burns and a few dark marks over each sleeve along with a small hole near the left elbow. We should also note that the fight strap has been cut away.
