Reggie Leach did all he could to help the Philadelphia Flyers win a third straight Stanley Cup in 1976. After leading the NHL with 61 goals during the regular season, a Flyers record that stands to this day, the sharp shooting right wing set a Stanley Cup playoffs record with 19 goals, claiming the Conn Smythe Trophy despite Philadelphia’s loss to Montreal in the final. Among the season highlights for Flyers fans was having six of their players, including Leach, on HOF coach Fred Shero’s Campbell All-Stars at the Spectrum in the first ASG in Philadelphia. The American Bicentennial patch is sewn on the left shoulder of Leach’s No. 27 white durene Campbell All-Stars game-worn jersey. Cosby tagging is in the neck with no size indicated; we measure it as a size 50. Game wear shows in orange-red paint transfer on both sleeves.
Leach’s 1976 Campbell Conference All-Stars game-worn jersey has all of the wonderful attributes of 1970s NHl All-Star Game jerseys, including surname letters sewn directly on the back and sewn-on stars and NHL crests. This precious Reggie Leach game-worn jersey exhibits various reddish-brown stains on the front tail and both sleeves that do not diminish its display.
