Born in Toronto but raised in Michigan, Mike Knuble was selected by Detroit in 1991 and made his NHL debut with club in 1996-97, winning a Stanley Cup championship with the Red Wings the following season. From his time in The City of Brotherly Love, where he spent four seasons with Philadelphia from 2005 to 2009, we have a Flyers third jersey worn by Knuble in 2008-09, specifically on Nov 28, 2008 (3-2 loss to Carolina) and Dec 2, 2008 (4-3 overtime win over Tampa Bay). A label with “58+” sizing is affixed to the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Styled with a tackle twill team crest and “22” over the sleeves and verso in layered twill, “Knuble” is sewn across the affixed white nameplate. Sporting just light game-use with a few random marks over each sleeve, a MeiGray patch numbered “F04592” resides on the inside hem, and according to their population report, the jersey is a "Third Set 1 - Retro Number Font (worn 11/28/08 and 12/2/08)" example. An LOA from the Philadelphia Flyers will accompany.
