Saying goodbye to one of their nations all-time greatest, Igor Larionov enjoyed a final farewell to his HOF career, with Russian fans thrilled to honour the superstar at the Luzhniki Palace of Sports, on Dec 13, 2004, where a team of former Red Wings playing for “Team World” took on well-known Russian NHL players. This signed Team World captain’s jersey was worn in the Igor Larionov farewell game by longtime teammate Steve Yzerman. With no labeling present and measuring-out to roughly a size 56, the team crest and reverse numbers are fashioned from textured twill, with “Yzerman” sublimated over the upper reverse. The Larionov farewell patch is affixed over the left breast. The superstar has signed within the reverse “9”, with the signature blending into the background. The jersey shows just light game-use, with no obtrusive marks. Originating from Igor Larionov’s personal collection, his signed LOA will accompany.
