The highest-drafted European goaltender as well as one of the highest-drafted Finnish player in NHL history, Kari Lehtonen spent his first five seasons in Atlanta and holds a number of franchise records including wins and shutouts. This Kari Lehtonen Thrashers jersey from the mid-2000s sports all the proper specifications of the examples worn by the club, with this style seeing use in 1999-00 (those have the affixed NHL 2000 patch). A CCM label with attached size “52” fly tag resides along the collar, with embroidered NHL and CCM crests over the reverse hem. Featuring a textured and multi-coloured Thrashers team crest, the V-neck sweater has been embellished with stylized dual-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with matching alternate crests over each shoulder. The jersey exhibits a bit of staining along the left seam, below the front band and beneath the reverse numbers. Hailing from the personal collection of an important hockey executive, his signed LOA will accompany.
