Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/23/2021
Celebrating Canadian Olympic champions including those of the fairer sex, this lot offers a desirable limited-edition souvenir stick from the 2010 Winter Games in Vancouver signed by tournament hero Sidney Crosby, accompanied by a stick issued to female netminder Kim St Pierre and team-signed by the 2002 Winter Olympic-champion Canadian Women’s national team. The 2010 stick features wonderful graphics throughout, with “Limited Edition” over the heel section, with Crosby adding a gorgeous silver paint pen signature across the front side of the blade. We should also note that these sticks were originally issued unsigned. The St Pierre stick is a Sher-Wood model with “St. Pierre” stamped to the upper shaft, with approx 21 signing the front side blade and paddle in black marker including St Pierre, along with Wickenheiser, Goyette, Ouellette, Sostorics, Antal, Dupuis, Chartrand, Sunohara, Hefford and others. The signatures display well with no issues. Hailing from the personal collection of a Montreal Canadiens/Chicago Black Hawks executive, a Classic Auctions LOA will accompany.
