Scoring his first goal for his nation vs Team Canada at the 2004 World Cup of Hockey, Tuomo Ruutu was a first-round draft selection of the Chicago Black Hawks in 2001, and stayed with the club for four seasons before additional time with both Carolina and New Jersey. This Black Hawks jersey was worn by the Finn in 2006-07, specifically in the Jan 5, 2007 contest vs Nashville. A CCM label with “56” sizing is affixed to the collar, with embroidered Reebok and NHL crests over the reverse neckline and bottom hem respectively. Styled with the traditional multi-coloured Indian head team crest with chain-stitched detailing, "15” appears over the sleeve and verso in layered tackle twill, with matching tomahawk crests sewn to each shoulder, with the Garth Brooks “Teammates For Kids” Foundation crest affixed just above the right breast. Worn for just a single contest, the jersey shows just light wear with no unattractive marks. A MeiGray patch numbered “D03960” is affixed to the inside hem, and according to their population report, the jersey is a "Red w/ 'Teammates For Kids' Patch - 1/5/07" example.
