Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/20/2020
The most recent of the 24 Stanley Cup championships won by the most successful hockey team in existence, the Montreal Canadiens would finish in only sixth place overall when the 1992-93 NHL season concluded. Despite losing the first two games of the postseason to Quebec, the Habs would rally and dispatch of the Nords, Sabres and Islanders before defeating Wayne Gretzky and the Los Angeles Kings in the final. Celebrating that last championship, we have a single-signed Canadiens puck collection featuring 15 members including HOFers Guy Carbonneau and Denis Savard, along with Mike Keane, Kirk Muller, Gilbert Dionne, Brian Bellows, Stephan Lebeau, Benoit Brunet, Mario Roberge, Jesse Belanger, Oleg Petrov, Gary Leeman, Rob Ramage, Patrice Brisebois and Eric Desjardins. Each puck features a Canadiens logo, with each signed in silver, with most adding a ’93 Cup notation. Displaying well with no issues for the signatures, the majority of the pucks have a hologram over the reverse. An LOA from Classic Auctions will accompany.
