Rarely found in working condition, especially compared to the more common examples manufactured by Gotham, Munro, Coleco and others, we have a seldom-seen Cresta table top hockey game from the circa-1950s. At roughly 19 ½” x 27 ¼” with an attractive finished wood base, the game features the familiar “pole” operated players, with a clean surface that contains just the rink’s particulars along with a centralized Cresta logo. Each metal player is present and accounted for except one, along with the game puck, with one of the bottom “feet” missing as well as some of the small plastic ends affixed to the play rods. The blue wooden frame shows wear to the paint throughout, with toning to the playing surface.
