Selected 4th overall by the Philadelphia Flyers in 2002, defenceman Joni Pitkanen saw action with three different NHL clubs while also representing Finland internationally. This Edmonton Oilers jersey was worn by the Oulu native in 2007-08, his only season with the club. Elite Sportswear labeling along with CCM size “58+” tagging remains attached to the collar, with Reebok and NHL crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Featuring the familiar Oilers team crest with textured oil drop, the V-neck sweater has been accented with tri-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Pitkanen” across the nameplate in matching material. Showing great game use with heavy wear to the material over the front and sleeves, there are also board burns over the left elbow, with team repairs over the lower reverse and both sleeves. A MeiGray patch numbered “E00258” resides on the inside hem, and according to their population report, the jersey is a “White Set 3” example. A matching LOA will accompany along with a second LOA.
