One of the highest scoring Russians in NHL history, Ilya Kovalchuk spent considerable time in Atlanta while aklso representing his nation internationally at a number of tournaments including the World Championships and Winter Olympics. This lot includes a stick used by the superstar during his time in Atlanta, accompanied by a signed Thrashers jersey. The Innovative 1100 is a model used by Kovalchuk in 2005-06 and earlier, with “I Kovalchuk” factory graphics, and the original white tape over the blade and black on the handle. The stick shows great use, with considerable wear and puck marks to the taped section of blade, along with marks to the lower shaft. There is also a factory code along the underside. The jersey is a CCM model with “M” sizing, with a tackle twill team crest and no numbers, with Kovalchuk signing just above the team crest, with the signature displaying well.
