This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/20/2020
Building an impressive hockey resume that includes placing fourth all-time for assists behind only Wayne Gretzky, Mario Lemieux and Bobby Orr, Peter Forsberg claimed a pair of Stanley Cup championships during his NHL tenure, along with both the Hart Memorial and Art Ross trophies in 2003. This signed stick was used by the superstar during the mid-to-late-1990s with Colorado, circa 1998-99. A Titan ASD 7000 model, “Forsberg” appears stamped over the lower shaft, with the original white tape over the shaved handle with “21” handwritten. The blade tape has been removed to facilitate a large and flowing black marker signature. Hailing from the personal collection of an important hockey executive, his signed LOA will accompany.
The stick remains completely solid and exhibits nice use with wear to the blade and puck marks to the lower shaft.
