Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/20/2020
The longest-serving captain in Chicago Black Hawks franchise history until the arrival of current leader and superstar Jonathan Toews, Pierre Pilote first donned the “C” after the club was crowned Stanley Cup champions in 1961. The Kenogami native would spend parts of 13 seasons in The Windy City, with HOF enshrinement occurring in 1975. He would sadly pass in 2017. This Chicago Black Hawks captain’s jersey has been signed by the deceased superstar. A CCM “Vintage” model with “L” sizing, a gorgeous Indian head team crest and tackle twill numbers, Pilote has signed the reverse “3” in blue marker, adding “HOF 75”, with some very minor bleeding to the signature. A hologram has been affixed beneath the signature, with an LOA from Classic Auctions to accompany.
