Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/16/2020
Never seeing a single game of action with the club that drafted him, Eric Lindros would make his triumphant debut for the Philadelphia Flyers in 1992-93, and would score an especially impressive 75 points during his rookie campaign. Hailing from his first season, we have a stick used by the superstar. A Bauer 3003 Supreme, the type of model used briefly by Lindros as a rookie, “Lindros –B” is stamped to the shaft (the “B” likely for a model designation), with the original white (now yellowing) tape over the blade and red over the shaved handle/knob. The stick exhibits moderate use, with considerable wear to the blade, with the tape slightly puckering, with a few marks to the shaft. Originating from the personal collection of Hall of Fame superstar Bob Gainey, his signed LOA will accompany.
