A West Second All-Star Team selection in 1994 during his time in the WHL, Scott Ferguson would win Memorial Cup championships with Kamloops in 1992 and 1994 before embarking on an NHL career that included appearances for three different clubs. This Blazers jersey was worn by the Camrose native in 1991-92. A sewn-down Maska Air-Knit label is affixed to the collar, with the jersey measuring-out to roughly a size 54. Styled with a layered tackle twill team crest, “2” appears over the sleeves and verso in matching material, with “Ferguson” screened over the affixed nameplate (there is evidence of a former nameplate). Showing great game use, there are dark marks over the lower front along with scuffs and scrapes, with some heavy pilling to the interior. There are also team repairs, with examples over the front (1) and sleeves (7). We should also note that according to our consignor, the jersey was worn in the 1992 Memorial Cup tournament.
