This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/16/2020
Originating from the incomparable autograph collection of E. Robert Hamlyn, we have this cool trio of team-signed card stock sheets from the good old days of the American Hockey League when plenty of talent was roaming the league. Included in this collection are; 1949-50 AHL Providence Reds signed by 21 in blue ink including Terry Reardon (player coach), John Chad, Jack McGill, Ed Kullman, Jack Stoddard, Carl Liscombe, Harvey Fraser, Harvey Bennett, Al Bentley, Pete Kapusta, Roger Bedard, Elwin Morris and others (sheet has a few creases – none in the autographs which are nice and bold); 1950-51 AHL Calder Cup champions Cleveland Barons signed by 19 in various inks including deceased HOFers Bun Cook (coach) and Johnny Bower. Additional signers include Fred Thurier, Wally Hergesheimer, Les Douglas, Roy Kelly, Murdo Mackay, Hy Buller, Glen Sonmor, Phil Samis, Tom Williams and others (sheet has numerous creases including one from top to bottom through the signatures on the left side of the sheet and some staining noticeable along the left side edge as well – overall signatures are nice and all are easily legible); 1950-51 AHL Cincinnati Mohawks signed by 19 mostly in blue ink including deceased HOFer Fred Shero and HOFer Emile Francis. Other signers include Phil Hergesheimer, Jack Gordon, Fern Perreault, Tod Campeau, Jean-Paul Denis, Gerry Plamondon, Gilles Dube, Jimmy Moore, Paul Bibeault and others (sheet has some creases with some going through the sigs – overall autographs are nice and bold). The sheets are approximately 5 1/2" x 7" each. Some paper residues on the backs of all team-signed sheets are to be noted, most likely from scrapbook removals.
