The true iron man of hockey, Jaromir Jagr spent parts of 24 seasons in the NHL, with numerous appearances made for the Czech Republic between 1989 and 2015 (Czechoslovakia from 1989 to 1993). From his days in The Big Apple where he donned the prestigious “C” for two seasons, this photo-matched New York Rangers captain’s jersey was worn by the superstar in 2007-08, his final season on Broadway. A CCM label with “60” sizing graces the collar, with embroidered NHL and Reebok crests on the front and reverse necklines respectively. Styled with “Rangers” placed diagonally across the chest in blue-over-red drop-shadow tackle twill, “68” appears over the sleeves and verso in matching material, with “Jagr” across the affixed nameplate. A patch from MeiGray numbered “E02900” resides on the “turned-in” customized hem, with a matching LOA to accompany, and according to their population report, the jersey is a "White Set 1 w/C" example.
Sporting light game use, there are a few fabric pulls over the lower front, with dark marks over each sleeve. There are also a few small stains near the left elbow. Getty Image #77508926 from Oct 20, 2007, has been matched to the black mark at the right of the "6" of "68" on the right sleeve, and to the black mark below those numbers to the left, while Getty Image #77468207, from Oct 23, has been matched to the black mark at the right of the "6" of "68" on the right sleeve.
