The scarcity and uniqueness of this marvelous stash will have veteran hobbyists ooohing and aaahing (we sure are), as Blueline Magazine premiun pictures seldom turn up in quantity, never mind with two dozen autographed - wow! Condition of the 8-3/4” by 12” semi-gloss pictures (on medium card stock) varies but without tape stains at the corners are examples signed by deceased HOFers Geoffrion (2), Beliveau, Lindsay, Lumley and Flaman, along with seven others, while stains affect those autographed by Bathgate, Gadsby, Kelly, Schmidt and an additional six. Highlighting 11 non-signed are Howie Morenz, Kelly, Lindsay and Rollins. Further lineup and condition details are available on our website – this is one special and unique offering.
One of the Geoffrion pictures is heavily creased, with back damage (glue) affecting Flaman, while without tape stains and autographed are images of Dick Duff (HOF)(creases), Ivan Irwin, Jim Morrison, Red Sullivan (2), Jerry Toppazzini and Benny Woit. Signed and with the aforementioned tape stains are examples of Wally Hergesheimer, Nick Mickoski, Ron Murphy, Tod Sloan, Sid Smith and Red Sullivan. Completing the non-signed contingent are Brian Cullen, Geoffrion (multi-creased), Lumley (one tape stain), Earl Reibel, Glen Skov, Mickoski and Sullivan. Talk about possibilities with this alluring ensemble. Oh, we almost forgot, the blue and black (mostly) marker signatures are issue-free beauties – the old guys sure had nice penmanship!
