With the famous soft drink producer first utilizing the singular term “Coke” as an official trademark in 1941, this lot contains a desirable collection of “Coke” serving trays from the 1950s/60s totaling ten, with each Canadian French-language tray originally produced for use in Quebec. Included, we have “Red Hair Lady” circa 1950-52, “Menu Girl” from circa 1953, “Umbrella Girl”, “Club Sandwich” (2, horizontal image), “Birdhouse” and “Rooster”, all from 1957, “Service Cart” from 1958 (2, horizontal image) and “Coke Fishtail Logo” from 1961 (horizontal image). Offering numerous display possibilities, the majority of the trays remain in pleasing condition with no major issues.
The 1950 to 1957 trays all sport “Imprime aux Etats-Unis” over the bottom left, with condition within the collection varying slightly, with light surface wear to most including the odd ding or chip to the rims. We should also note that one of the trays from 1957 is slightly warped and currently does not sit perfectly flat.
