Contributing greatly to the Montreal Canadiens Stanley Cup dynasty of the late-1970s with at least twenty games played in each of the club’s four-consecutive championship seasons, Michel “Bunny” Larocque also secured a trio of Vezina Trophy wins along with Ken Dryden during the era. This stick was used by the 1990 John Horman Trophy-winner in the mid-1970s, circa 1975-76. A Sher-Wood model with intact striping accents, “M. Larocque” and “1” are stamped over the upper shaft, with the original white tape over the blade and now-darkened tape bent over the knob intact. There is also a date code in red of “Oct 21 1975”, visible along the bottom edge of the paddle. Light use is exhibited on the lumber, with a few streaks over the paddle and puck marks to the front side of the blade, with a small split along the underside of the blade. Used during a Stanley Cup championship season, Bunny Larocque sticks don’t turn up often.
