Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2020
Sporting the most all-time Stanley Cup championships for any American NHL franchise, the Detroit Red Wings are one of hockey’s best loved clubs, with eight uniform numbers currently retired, including those of legendary superstars Gordie Howe, Terry Sawchuk and Ted Lindsay. This lot contains a collection of autographed pucks totaling 38, with each signed by a past member of the Detroit Red Wings. Each puck feature’s a Wings logo and has been signed in either thin or thick silver paint pen (a few are signed in gold and blue), with light handling wear to the pucks themselves. Signers include A. Pronovost, Brown, Federko, Harris, Baun, Marsh, Conacher, Watson, Prentice, Riggin, Sanford, Litzenberger, F. Smith, Kennedy, Unger, Aldcorn, Menard, Hudler, McKenzie, Primeau, Douglas, Draper, Reise, Reaume, Bonin, Osborne, Peystai, Robinson, Libbett, Henderson, R. Smith, Duguay, Murphy, Thomas, Stasiuk, McKechnie and Wendel Clark. The signatures present well, with just a bit of smudging to the Mike McPhee, Ric Nattress and Connie Broden signatures, with most pucks accompanied by a COA.
