Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2020
Transitioning to the Toronto Maple Leafs in the early-2000s after winning a Stanley Cup with Dallas in 1999, Ed Belfour would make his sixth and final appearance at the NHL All-Star Game during his first season in Ontario in 2002-03, and see action in seven playoff contests. These pads were issued to the Hall of Fame netminder for the 2002-03 season. CCM Heaton models in Leafs colours with “Belfour” embroidered onto each, the 32” pads feature both screened and sewn-on identifiers, with all strapping intact. While the pads remain in excellent, unused condition, we should note a few random marks are visible over each pad, with some minor discolouration over a small section of padding over the reverse of the right pad. A signed LOA from Ed Belfour will accompany.
