Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2020
Made a vice president and director of public relations by the Montreal Canadiens upon his retirement in 1971, Jean Beliveau was a member of 17 Stanley Cup championships throughout his time in hockey, with 10 won as a player, along with another 7 as an executive. We have a neat collection of signed business cards from the Habs giant totaling 48. At 2” x 3 ½”, each card features a full colour Canadiens logo, with “Jean Beliveau” and “Vice-President”, along with Japanese characters over the right side. Each has been signed in black ink, with no issues for the signatures. An included small French note in Jean’s hand is included, and it translates to, “when we went to Hong-Kong they had those business cards made for me". An LOA from the Beliveau family will accompany.
