First appearing in the Quebec Junior Hockey League at just 16 years of age in 1947, Jean Beliveau would spend a pair of seasons with the Victoriaville Tigers, scoring an impressive 142 points in just 84 games. Originating from his personal collection and presented to the legendary star in 2005, we have a Jean Beliveau Victoriaville Tigers tribute trophy. At approx 13” in height, a well designed generic player with gold accents is poised for game-action, and sits mounted over an oval tiered 8” x 10” wooden base. The Tigers logo has been mounted atop the base, with a plaque affixed listing the particulars in French. Majestic in appearance and honouring the pre-NHL career of one of the games all-time greatest, an LOA from the Beliveau family will accompany.
The trophy display wonderfully with just a bit of wear in a few spots over the base. The text on the engraved plaque states: Hommage a M. Jean Beliveau (Tribute to Jean Beliveau), Membre honorable des Tigres de Victoriaville (honourable member of the Victoriaville Tigers), Saisons 1947-48 & 1948-48, (Seasons 1947-48 and 1948-49), Le 11 fevrier 2005 (February 11th 2005).
