All sorts to tell you about here after the dissection process, with graded highlights being stars 7-Richard (NM 7), 14-Harvey (NM-MT 8), 31-Horton (EX 5), 46-Lindsay (EX-MT 6) and 91-Battle Of The All-Stars (NM-MT 8), with the tough 100-Sawchuk Stops Boom Boom card just missing NM recognition at EX-MT+ 6.5. A majority of the raw cards display as crease-free EX and EX+ cards, with however some four dozen exhibiting curved or semi-circular subtle indentations from having been stored in a Parkie album, with uneven toning observed at times. The Bower RC (one of 21 with Lucky Premium (LP) backs) is among them, with gum/wax stains, similar to 3-Beliveau (creased VG) and 33-Sawchuk (otherwise EX). Please see our website for the continuation of this long story.
The Beliveau and Sawhuck cards do not have the indentations, nor do 41-Howe (small light crease – VG+), 8-Geoffrion (EX) and 82-Sasakamoose RC (with LP back and EX-MT+ (ST)). Other cards with a crease total 16, including 5-Olmstead (LP), 16-Lumley, 24-Armstrong and 98-Plante action. Most noteworthy in the Lucky Premium back stack are 2-Moore, 49-Sugar Jim Henry, 51-Quackenbush and 73-Camille Henry RC. Non-creased cards without album indentations include 6-Bouchard and action cards 90, 92 to 95 and 99-Placid Plante. …..Graded cards not already mentioned are 53-Gardner (VG-EX 4), 68-Raleigh (EX-MT 6), 70-Howell (EX 5) and 80-Gee (NM 7). …..Finally, a Parkie album (G, with a cover tear) includes the correct amount (11) of slotted cardboard sheets. There now, you may want to re-read this – there is much to consider and numerous possibilities with this varied batch of classic Parkies.
