Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2019
Both informative and entertaining to youthful hockey fans during the 1970s, Peter Puck was a puck-shaped cartoon character created by the iconic Hanna-Barbera Studios, and he offered tips regarding the rules of the game along with its history between periods. We have a large collection of vintage Peter Puck items offered, including a fan club ring, watch, pucks, unopened candy boxes, pins, hats, mugs, banks, stuffed toys, colouring books, postcards and more. There is also a 1974 media photo of Ronnie Schell, the voice of Peter Puck and a child’s size sweater. This item is relisted from our Spring 2019 auction as Brian Battles from AL (USA) failed to honor his bid.
The full list of contests include 4 ball caps (2 different), 3 coin banks (all 3 different, including one made by Mastercard – with the other two metal examples showing wear w/dents), two fairly large stuffed toys (light wear) 5 coffee mugs, unopened colouring set, 2 colouring books (1 still sealed), 2 iron-on transfers, a pennant (light wear), 2 unopened surprise packs, 3 pucks, 10 pinbacks, 5 patches, 44 postcards (variety of images with duplication) and 2 different unopended candy boxes. The fan club ring and watch that are also included both show just very light wear.
