A veteran of five World Championships while representing Finland, Teemu Selanne is also a six-time Olympian, with his 43 points scored at Olympic tournaments enough to position him as the all-time leading scorer. We have a photo-matched Team Finland alternate captain’s jersey that was worn by the HOF superstar at the 2010 Winter Olympics. A label from the IIHF along with screened-on “62” sizing resides over the collar, with a Nike swoosh logo over the right breast and Vancouver Games patch over the reverse hem. Styled with “Suomi” placed arching across the chest in individual dual-colour tackle twill letters, “8” appears over the shoulders and verso in single twill, with “Selanne” across the affixed nameplate in individual heat-pressed letters. There is also a Nike bar code heat-pressed onto the inside hem.
Showing just light use, there are a few dark marks over the left sleeve and upper reverse, with a bit of blue paint transfer near the left elbow. Getty Image #96796156 from Feb 17, 2010 (preliminary match vs Belarus), has been matched to the blue mark on the lower left sleeve, and to the long black mark on the upper left sleeve, while Getty Image #96796124, also from Feb 17, has been matched to the long black mark on the upper left sleeve.
