This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2020
The Calder Memorial Trophy winner in 1971, averaging almost a-point-a-game throughout his rookie season, Gilbert Perreault spent his entire 17-season career with Buffalo, earning 8 All-Star Game appearances along with the Lady Byng Trophy, in 1973. These skates were used by the 1990 HOF inductee during the late-1970s/early-1980s. Daoust 301 National models with intact lacing, “11” is handwritten in black marker on the underside of each boot, with the skates showing heavy prolonged use, with considerable rubbing to the leather throughout along with numerous cuts over the toe sections. The blades and blade holders also show heavy wear, with reinforcement stitching added over both sides of each boot. Perreault has signed the left skate in thin white ink, with the signature blending into the background material.
