Selected by the Montreal Canadiens in 1990, Gilbert Dionne saw action in a number of leagues throughout his lengthy career, with his NHL time shared amongst Montreal, Florida and Philadelphia. We have a signed Flyers jersey worn by the Drummondville native in 1994-95, his first season in The City of Brotherly Love. A Maska Air-Knit label sits affixed to the collar along with a size “52” fly tag placed adjacently, with embroidered NHL and CCM crests over the reverse bottom hem. Styled with the famous Flyers team crest fully administered in layered tackle twill, the orange V-neck sweater has been accented with orange-over-black sleeve and verso numbers, with “Dionne” over the affixed nameplate in single white twill. Placing a large and bold black marker signature within the reverse “4”, Dionne has also added his number, and the signature stands out wonderfully. Regarding game use, there are a few dark marks over the front and sleeves, with board burns over each elbow along with a couple small resulting holes, with a bit of red paint transfer over the right.
