Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/18/2019
The Lady Byng Memorial Trophy winner in 1945 as the NHL’s most gentlemanly player, Bill Mosienko was a two-time Second-Team All-Star, with his record of 3 goals scored in 21 seconds assuring immortal status. Inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1965 after a dozen seasons with Chicago and another 5 with the Winnipeg Warriors, Mosienko would pass from cancer at the age of 72, in 1994. We have a puck signed by the legendary Winnipegger. A Trench model Black Hawks example in flawless condition, Mosienko has signed just above the team logo in gold, with the thin signature displaying wonderfully. A hologram from Frozen Pond has been affixed to the reverse, with a COA to accompany.
