Cereal premiums have always been a favourite, with anxious children sifting through endless boxes of breakfast confections to discover a seemingly important keepsake. We have a rarely-seen high-grade complete set of 15 Montreal Canadiens "Pep" cereal pins from circa-1948, and it’s the first complete assemblage that we’ve ever offered. Extremely popular among collectors, these small 7/8” diameter pinback buttons are commonly known as Pep cereal pins, even though there has never been confirmation that they were indeed a premium from the Kellogg's company. Included in this collection of mini celluloid masterpieces are Richard, Bouchard, Lach, O’Connor, Reardon, Blake, Chamberlain, Fillion, Gravelle, Harmon, Leger, Mosdell, Peters, Reay and Bill Durnan. We've divided the collection into fifteen lots which will be the object of separate bidding, with the condition of each pin mentioned in its respective listing. Thus, to take home the entire collection, a bid will be required that is superior to the combined sum of the 15 lots that comprise the collection.
